Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh Seek Bappa’s Blessings at Lalbaugcha Raja 2026

Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 has made the city of Mumbai come alive with celebrations, colours and devotion, and Bollywood pair Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh were also seen visiting the Lalbaugcha Raja where they prayed to Lord Ganesha. Their presence gave a traditional feel to the atmosphere filled with festivity.

When it called for an appearance at the darshan, Riteish chose a kurta to show the cultural association to the festival. Genelia also wore a wonderful purple ethnic suit contributing to the festive vibe. The couple together made a mark with their simple yet festive dressing while preserving the sanctity of their visit.

The Lalbaugcha Raja is of prime significance in Ganeshotsav celebrations in Mumbai. The well-known public Ganeshostav Mandal was established in 1934 and has now become one of the biggest spiritual and cultural hubs in Mumbai.

Riteish and Genelia's visit showcases how the festivities of a celebrity couple can bring traditional as well as modern art forms into conflict. Rather than going for extravagant garments, the couple decided to let the importance of the occasion take the spotlight. Their ethnic costumes were in sync with the spirit of Ganesh Utsav.

Genelia is known for her affinity for Indian festive fashion. She has donned traditional silhouettes on multiple occasions. Her appearances in 2026 have featured Paithani attributes as well, including a custom-made Paithani saree worn for Ganesh celebrations.

However, what stood out most was the couple's spiritual connection at Lalbaugcha Raja. Holding their hands together and praying before the God, Riteish and Genelia were a part of the thousands of devotees celebrating Ganeshotsav festival.

Their appearance at Lalbaugcha Raja reflected the spirit of the festival being celebrated in 2026 quite well—devotion coupled with the touch of tradition. For many followers, this visit of Riteish and Genelia reminds them of what Ganesh Chaturthi means to them in the first place, and of course it highlights the star couple's style sense.
