Sobo Culture is an independent magazine covering arts, jewellery, fashion, beauty and the ideas shaping contemporary style. We publish from India for readers anywhere who care how culture is actually made.
What we cover
Seven sections carry the work: Arts, Jewellery, Women’s Wear, Men’s Wear, Beauty, Innovation and General News. The through-line is craft. We are interested in the studio before the runway, the weaver before the label, and the argument a piece of work is making rather than the noise around it.
How we work
Every story is reported and edited before it runs. We do not publish sponsored posts as editorial, and where a piece involves a commercial relationship we say so on the page. Our writers choose their own subjects; access is never traded for coverage.
Corrections
We correct errors of fact promptly and note the change at the foot of the story. If you have spotted something wrong, write to info@soboculture.com with the headline and the detail, and we will look at it.
