This policy explains what Sobo Culture collects when you use soboculture.com, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. It applies to this website only.
What we collect
Newsletter. If you subscribe we store the email address you give us, and nothing else. It is used to send the newsletter and for no other purpose.
Comments. If you leave a comment we store the name, email address and comment you submit, along with your IP address, which we keep to help us deal with spam and abuse. Your email address is never published.
Analytics. We may use analytics to understand which stories are read. Where we do, it is configured to report in aggregate.
Server logs. Our host records standard request logs, including IP address and browser type, as part of running the site securely.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your email address with advertisers or partners. We do not attempt to identify individual readers from analytics.
Cookies
The site sets a small number of cookies: one to remember whether you dismissed the cookie notice, and one to remember whether you chose light or dark mode. Embedded content from third parties, such as YouTube or Instagram, may set its own cookies once you load a page containing it. Those are governed by the policies of those services.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any issue. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@soboculture.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date below.
